Emmys Elegant Ladies and Gents 2013

Here we are again...my favorite time of the year...award season! The Emmy Awards, hosted by the talented and witty Neil Patrick Harris celebrate Television from reality to dramatic series and movies. I imagine how fun this would be to sit in the audience and feel the energy of all of the artists who entertain us daily.

If you have read my prior blogs, you will know that I only select the artists that are my favorites of the night. It's usually hard for me to narrow all my choices so here is my attempt to keep it simple.
Blue appeared to be the "color" of the evening, gracing the red carpet in a mirage of blue hues.

It may be hard to recognize this beautiful lady with her dark sleek hair but it is Emilia Clarke better known as Daenerys Targaryen on HBO's Game of Thrones. I absolutely love the flow of this beautiful palest of pale blue Donna Karen Atelier gown. Emilia looks like the Queen she portrays.

Padma Lakashmi stepped out in cool blue Kaufman Franco design. The simplicity of this design won me over not to mention you must have an amazing figure to rock this gown. At 43 years of age Padma is vision of beauty.

One of my favorite of the evening was  this white J. Mendel gown from the 2014 Spring Collection worn by the lovely Kate Mara. The delicate bodice and super sheek slit are eye catching. The Charlotte Olympia heels are to die for. ( I think she knows it too by the way she is putting her best foot forward)

Who couldn't love these sisters? Bring on some more shades of Blue... Zoey and Emily Deschanel looked radiant tonight as each sister showed their own style. Zoey selected a beautiful eye matching blue J. Mendel while sister Emily flaunted her curves in a custom vegan gown by Houghton. Both sisters had beautiful hair and makeup to compliment their look.

My Princess award of the evening goes to ...Kaley Cuoco in her burgundy Vera Wang (the princess master). Every award show has to have a princess...right?
The color is a perfect choice for her skin tone and her hair isn't over done competing with the gown.

I love everything about these looks! This has to be my all time favorite Laura Dern gown selection. Jewel looks radiant in pastel pink. She also ranks in the top for best hair of the evening.

I always have an O La La Award and there is no exception tonight. It does seem to be the same sexy women getting this award from me. Tonight this award goes to Sofia Vegara. Holy Colombian...she was working the red carpet in a red Vera Wang.

I can't help but to add Claire Daines to my list...she has a special place in my heart. :) I loved her Armani Prive gown with its plunging neckline. Her faux bob was fabulous and flawless! Maybe she can loan this gown to me??

These ladies round out my favorite ladies of the evening. Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn looking glam in a Romona Keveza stunner. January Jones is always a favorite! She is my choice for Best Hair of the night! Christina Hendricks is in second place for Best Hair...I wonder if they go to the same hairdresser?? Taylor Schilling wowed in an amazing Thakoon dress with Stuart Weitzman heels.

Finally, I'll get to the gentleman!
Aaron Paul who plays Jesse on Breaking Bad looked handsome with his wife...the best part was how he gushed about being madly in love with her. Ahhh...he wins just for that! What a gentleman!

How cute is James Wolk? He just seems like the kind of guy you would like to hang out with. He is wonderfully groomed this evening!

Last, but certainly not least is Dylan McDermott. He is the picture of handsome with his lovely girlfriend Shasi Wells.

My spouse and i ended up being so peaceful that Albert managed to complete his homework out of the ideas he had out of the blog. It's not at all simplistic to simply possibly be handing out tricks that many people may have been making money from. We take into account we now have the website owner to give thanks to because of that. The specific explanations you made, the straightforward web site navigation, the relationships you can make it easier to instill - it is all amazing, and it is leading our son and the family know that that situation is excellent, and that is extraordinarily pressing. Thank you for all the pieces!

Would love to go on prestigious events and award nights such this - especially during the Cannes film festival. I know it's cliche, but my main goal is to see the fashion , not the celebrities - they come in third after the fashion, then the movies.
